The Australian Shepherd Club of New England (ASCNE) is more than a dog club. We are a thriving community of over 150 members who share a deep love for the Australian Shepherd breed — a dog known for its intelligence, agility, loyalty, and versatility.
As an official affiliate of the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA), ASCNE is dedicated to preserving the breed’s heritage, advancing its future, and creating unforgettable experiences through events, education, and community.
Our Mission
At ASCNE, our mission is to protect, promote, and celebrate the Australian Shepherd. We work to:
- Encourage ethical breeding practices that honor the ASCA breed standard.
- Educate owners and enthusiasts on the history, temperament, and training needs of the Aussie.
- Showcase versatility through agility trials, rally, obedience, tracking, stock dog trials, and conformation shows.
Inspire youth with our Junior Showmanship program, helping the next generation of handlers grow in knowledge and skill.
