ASCA Mid-Summer Stockdog Trial

Livestock will be:

 3 Beef cattle per run pre-entry $35 (daily maximum of 16 runs)

5 Cheviot sheep per run pre-entry $30 (daily maximum of 15 runs)

5 Indian Runner ducks per run pre-entry $20 (daily maximum of 20 runs)

Total entries each day is limited to 40 runs

(Add $5 per run for entries made after the close of Pre-entries)

                *If livestock is injured by a dog, the owner/handler will be responsible for any veterinary fees and/or the replacement cost of the livestock and any associated disposal fees. Replacement costs for ducks will be $20, sheep $125 and cattle $800.

        Pre-entries will be accepted with postmarks between June 30 and July 21,2006

<>  Entry fees are not refundable unless there is an entry to replace it on the waiting list.

Saturday Trials will be Course A starting at 8:30 a.m.

Handler’s Meeting at 8:00 a.m.

Sunday Trials will be Course B starting at 8:00 a.m.

Handler’s Meeting at 7:30 a.m.

Both days will start with cattle runs, then sheep and followed by ducks.


Run orders will be chosen the day of the trial

      Note: Bitches in season will run in order and must be crated otherwise

Daily Awards: Ribbons and prizes will be presented for 1st-4th on each class of stock in each division, open working juniors and Junior handlers. A HIT award will be presented daily for Aussies and Other breeds

*Non-ASCA Registered Dogs will need to acquire a tracking number from ASCA prior to the trial to have scores count towards ASCA titles




Directions:

From the South, take I 89 north to exit 7. Take a right off of the exit and travel one mile and take a left onto Rte 127 north. Follow Rte 127 north for about 3 miles and take a right onto Tyler Rd. Travel about 1.5 miles and a sign for RIVERFARE FARMS will be on the right, follow the driveway to the indoor arena.


From the North, take I 89 south to exit 7. Take a left off of the exit and follow the directions above once you take the left onto Rte 127 North.
