ASCA Mid-Summer Stockdog Trial

Livestock will be:
3 Beef Cross cattle per run pre-entry $35 (daily maximum of 16 runs)
3-5 Cheviot and Cheviot-X sheep per run pre-entry $30 (daily maximum of 24 runs)
5 Indian Runner ducks per run pre-entry $20 (daily maximum of 20 runs)

Add $5 per run for day of trial entries if runs are still available
A maximum of 40 runs can be judged daily, so get your entries in early.

Entries will be accepted with postmarks on or after June 27, 2005
Entry fees are not refundable unless there is an entry to replace it on the waiting list.

Saturday Trials will be Course A starting at 9 a.m.
Handler’s Meeting at 8:30 a.m.

Sunday Trials will be Course B starting at 8:30 a.m.
Handler’s Meeting at 8:00 a.m.

Both days will start with cattle runs, then ducks, then sheep
Run orders will be chosen the day of the trial
Note: Bitches in season will run in order and must be crated otherwise

Daily Awards: Ribbons and prizes will be presented for 1st – 4th on each class of stock in each division, Open Working Juniors and Junior Handlers. High in Trial ducks, sheep and cattle awards will be presented daily as well for both Aussies and Other Breed

A High Combined Aussie and High Combined Other Breed award will be presented on Sunday when both day’s scores in all classes have been totaled.

Directions:

From the South, take I 89 north to exit 7. Take a right off of the exit and travel one mile and take a left onto Rte 127 north. Follow Rte 127 north for about 3 miles and take a right onto Tyler Rd. Travel about 1.5 miles and a sign will be on the mailbox for ASCA Stockdog Trial. Take a right into the driveway.

From the North, take I 89 south to exit 7. Take a left off of the exit and follow the directions above once you take the left onto Rte 127 North.

Note: All of these accommodations are within 10-30 minutes of the trial site and some have fees associated with them for the dogs.
At the trial grounds and at the accommodations, please keep your dogs leashed and clean up after them at all times 

Non-ASCA registered dogs (known as Other Breeds) that are included on the ASCA Herding Breed list can compete for placements, ribbons and prizes at this trial. However, the scores will not count towards ASCA herding titles unless the dog has an ASCA tracking number prior to the trial. These numbers can be obtained by contacting the ASCA Business Office at 1-969-778-1082
